Martial Arts Program  

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has proven to be one of the most effective forms of unarmed combat in the martial arts. From Renzo Gracie schools many champions have come forth. Matt Serra, Ricardo Almeida and many others have won world championships in the UFC, Abu Dhabi Submission World Championships and the BJJ World Championships.

Our courses will teach you the defenses against the most common street attacks. Learn to defend against: Chokes, Grabs, Punches, Kicks, Bear Hugs, Head locks.

As well as weapons such as guns, knives and sticks. Just as important, we teach people to function during the stress and shock of a sudden, violent encounter.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a self defense system that focuses on grappling.

It teaches that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using leverage and proper technique—most notably by applying joint locks and chokeholds to defeat the other person.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu can be trained for sport grappling tournaments and mixed martial arts ( MMA ) competition or self defense.

Muay Thai Boxing is a martial art from Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. It is a very effective form of Western Boxing and Kickboxing.

Muay Thai Boxing is referred to as the “Art of Eight Limbs” or the “Science Of Eight Limbs” because it makes use of punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes, thus using eight “points of contact”.

This is a great cardio workout as well as learning how to defend yourself developing great striking skills.

There are different Muay Thai Boxing classes. There are technique classes and other classes for the advanced students who would also like to spar.

MMA Program

The techniques taught in the mixed martial arts classes generally fall into two categories: Striking techniques (such as kicks, knees and punches) and Grappling techniques (such as clinch holds, pinning holds, submission holds, sweeps, take downs and throws).

Boxing Class

Increase your speed, agility, and strength and prepare to sweat in this bootcamp style interval training boxing class.

Wrestling/MMA Takedowns

This class is designed to teach you the takedowns commonly seen in Mixed Martial Arts events like the UFC as well as those needed to defend yourself in a street encounter.
