Adult Fundamentals Jiu-Jitsu Program

The Beginner Program is the first level for adults (over the age of 16) beginning their Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training. Students will learn the fundamentals of BJJ and basic techniques. The class structure is formed around a warm-up, a lesson in technique and partner training to practice the technique from the lesson.

Adrian Alsina, an experienced instructor at the renowned Renzo Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy of Weston, expertly demonstrates a submission hold to an attentive group of adult beginners in a well-equipped training facility. Wearing a traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gi, Adrian skillfully guides his training partner into the hold, highlighting the importance of leverage and technique for successful self-defense. Fellow students eagerly observe and absorb the knowledge, eager to practice and refine their own grappling skills under Adrian's watchful eye.

Adult Advanced Jiu-Jitsu Program

A diverse group of dedicated martial artists practicing advanced techniques at Renzo Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy of Weston, featuring seven accomplished black belts proudly wearing their rank, as they train alongside enthusiastic beginners and intermediate practitioners, creating a thriving and inclusive environment for personal growth and skill development in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

The Advanced Curriculum focuses on developing applicable self-defense skills beyond the fundamentals level without ignoring the sports aspect in both Gi and No-Gi. For those who choose the competition path, competition training is provided by invitation. This program is built to further develop the skills earned in the Fundamentals Program for adults of all ages.

Adult Women's Jiu-Jitsu Program

A diverse group of empowered women practicing advanced jiu-jitsu techniques under the expert guidance of a purple belt instructor at the renowned Renzo Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Weston, showcasing determination, skill, and camaraderie.

This program is taught by female instructors. Developed for women who wish to learn Jiu Jitsu or progress further in their Jiu Jitsu journey without participating in mixed-gender classes. The women's classes are strenuous and effective; designed to develop self-defense skills and situational awareness.

MEET OUR RENZO GRACIE OF WESTON ACADEMY INSTRUCTORS

Black belt Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor Adrian Alsina, owner and head coach of Renzo Gracie Weston Gym, proudly stands in his training facility.

Adrian Alsina has been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2013 and is currently a black belt in the sport. In that time, Adrian has not only become a student of the sport but a competitor as well. Participating in numerous tournaments all around the country earning multiple medals in the IBJJF, Newbreed, NAGA, ABC, and Grappling industries.

Coach Lauren, a dedicated purple belt Brazilian jiu jitsu practitioner with 6 years of experience, proudly stands as the head coach of the women's classes at Renzo Gracie Weston Academy, wearing her gi with a warm smile while inspiring her women's classes with her 6 years of expertise and leadership.

Lauren has been training Brazilian jiu jitsu for 6 years and is a purple belt in the sport. She is the coach of the women's classes at Renzo Gracie Weston and has been training at our academy for 6 years.

Coach Allan, a dedicated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt practitioner with 11 years of experience, expertly demonstrating a technique during a fundamentals class at Renzo Gracie Weston Training Center. His passion for the sport and commitment to progress at the academy since 2015 are evident as he rigorously trains and coaches fellow students.

Allan has been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for the past 11 years, since 2011, and is currently a brown belt in the sport. He coaches the fundamental and drilling classes at Renzo Gracie Weston and has been training at our academy for the past 8 years, since 2015.
